Friday night I went to the Enrique Iglesias Pitbull show to see… the guitarist for Enrique, of course. We got hooked up with front row passes to watch the Latin heartthrob perform next to his famed guitarist. It was really a great show, I didn’t realize how many songs Enrique has in his catalog–dating back to the Mid 90′s.
But the highlight of the show, was watching Alex get down on the git-down rocking his Mazel Tov t-shirt. The shirt worked wonders at Madison Square Garden. After the show, hordes of girls came up to him asking for his phone number and where he got his t-shirt. Luckily I was standing next to him so I got his sloppy seconds. (Disclaimer: Both of us have girlfriends, so me getting “sloppy seconds” is just me trying to sound like I got crazy boy band ass).

A good friend of mine was at Electric Zoo and spotted our Panda Shades Guys T-shirt. It’s nice to see people listening to good music and wearing cool t-shirts. Rock On, dude from Electric Zoo. 
A friend of mine texted a picture of someone wearing one of our t-shirts on “Undercover Boss.” Pretty baller. This kid is sportin the Monkey on his back on national television. That monkey on the back is the stamp of authenticity, you know you’ve got the freshest, softest, coolest t-shirt around.

On Thursday, CNN Money came out with a feature on the Top 10 Next Generation Entrepreneurs to watch. Included in the list of 10 was a Restauranteur, a Vending Machine Mogul, and Yours truly. What an honor.
We launched the brand in 2005, and have been working since then to build Crooked Monkey into what it is today–awesome t-shirts for awesome people. When we started, we focused on the humor market. Then we added the graphic market to our catalog. Now we are the destination for awesome tees. The nomination is a thumbs up/recognition to everything we’re doing here at Crooked Monkey–and all the loyal fans and supporters across the globe.

So what’s next for Crooked Monkey? How are we going to continue to provide awesome t-shirts and build the brand? Well most importantly we’re relaunching/revamping our site. Its an exciting and long process–right now we’re going through the cosmetic changes. It’s all about finding that unique Crooked Monkey voice and funneling that into the design.
We’re super stoked to be on CNN Money’s top 10 list, and we won’t let them down. Cheers to the next six years of Livin the Dream.
Our favorite rock guitarist is playing for Enrique on Americon Idol on Thursday night, May 12th. The show starts at 8 pm, we’re not sure when Enrique is performing, but its a good excuse to catch the whole episode.

Our Good friend, and rockstar, Alex Feder is on tour with Enrique Iglesias. If not for his knee injury, he’d be moonwalking across the seven seas with Enrique, but instead he’s killing it on the guitar sans the dance moves that made him famous–waiting for the opportune time to break it out.
But who needs to dance when you’ve got Crooked Monkey’s line of Graphic tees. Let the tees do the talking (dancing).

Last night, our good friend and rock star, Alex Feder (formerly of the XYZ Affair) started his world tour with Enrique Iglesias. Alex is going to be playing guitar with the Latin heartthrob through the nine month tour.
Alex is giving us a huge shoutout–he’s going to be sporting Crooked Monkey T-shirts on stage at some pretty sweet venues–including the Borgata, Madison Square Garden, and all across Europe.
Here’s a clip of him performing with Enrique in his debut concert. Around 1:34 Enrique gives Alex a little bit of love (it’s either for his guitar playing or for his t-shirt wardrobe).
Milinda Jefferson, a lead reporter for Angie’s Army of OMG TV (The CBS news affiliate of CH. 9 WUSA), is very involved with supporting the troops. She and her business partner/camera man Jerome Bourgeois went to the Super Bowl and compiled an amazing video with shutouts from tons of celebrities Supporting our troops.
When we met Milinda and she told us about her passion for the soldiers and her efforts, we immediately wanted to help her anyway we could. So we gave her and her whole crew Crooked Monkey gear to wear for the weekend. She repped us beautifully. Check out the video and you’ll see Crooked Monkey t-shirts popping up everywhere.

The always fashionable and impeccably dressed Kurt Hummle, as played by Chris Colfer, was spotted in our Geek is the New Chic Guys T-shirt in Glee: Episode 3, Accafellas.
We are super psyched. Glee is one of the hottest shows on TV right now, and they’re wearing Crooked Monkey t-shirts! Hip hip hooray!
Glee joins Weeds, Leverage, and “So you think you can dance” in the category of TV shows with awesome style. Eclipse, the third saga in the Twilight series, will be joining the category of Movies with the best style when Eclipse features our Sketched boombox t-shirt.
Big shout out to Cara, best former intern ever, for spotting this one. It wasn’t an easy spot, as Kurt was wearing a blazer over our Geek is Chic t-shirt, but I guess we trained her well. She also is responsible for letting us know about Ryan Seacrest wearing our I’m not a gardener i just like hoes t-shirt. Three cheers for Cara. Well actually two cheers for Cara. She’ll get a third cheer on her next spotting.
