Sending t-shirts to the mothership

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

We love when our customers/fans send in pictures of them wearing their favorite C monkey t-shirt with pride.  Here’s some facts i’ve noticed about our customers:

1)They like to wear cool t-shirts.

2)They like to have a good time.

3)They are diverse–from all backgrounds, cultures and cities.

4)They are the life of the party.  (as evidenced in the most recent batch of pictures)

Thanks Delonte, for sending these in.

T-shirt of the day: Bear Fedora Guys Graphic

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

So when we started the “T-shirt of the Day” concept, we debated whether to have our models sporting the t-shirt of the day, or employees.  First we decided to go with the better looking people, then we decided that charisma trumps beauty and chose to highlight employees.

So here I am, wearing our Bear Fedora Guys Graphic T-shirt.  And in honor of us re-posting this, our 20% discount is in effect til the end of the week.

Skydiving with our t-shirts

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

We get lots and lots of emails from our fans. We get lots and lots of pictures from our customers of our funny t-shirts. But this might be the coolest picture/email combo we’ve gotten so far.

This guy swung by our guys t-shirt store, picked up our Turn Tables Guys Graphic T-shirt, and then jumped out of a plane wearing our t-shirt. No parachute needed.

COOOOOOOL. This also wins our picture of the month award.

Former intern, Russell, made some alterations to the previous picture. I was supposed to look like Willie Wonka, but he turned me into an Ooompa Loompa. I’ll take what I can get.

Special Edition Autographed T-shirt

Monday, December 8th, 2008

Just the other day we issued our first ever Autographed t-shirt. Right above the “Made in Honduras” label is chicken scratch that reads “Micha Weinblatt,” reminiscent of a third graders first attempts at cursive. But we’re not here to judge my pathetically uninspiring signature.

We’re here to celebrate the first in a series of autographed t-shirts. The original recipient of this special bonus was my brother’s girlfriend, Julia Friedman. She is the only person I knew whose excitement and cheeriness warrants such a special first time gift.

But now that we see its success, we are considering autographing 1 out of every 1,000 shirts we ship, for a yearly drawing to tour the Crooked Monkey’s funny t-shirt headquarters, meet the staff, and possibly become the next CEO of Crooked Monkey.
