Twitter has done well for us. We found out about Ryan Seacrest wearing our shirt, get to interact with our customers, and found out about Kitten Lounge. Its run by Cocoabebe, she’s got a great twitter account–so follow her!

Anyways we sent her some shirts to review and she’s going to post that review next week. In the meanwhile, just in time for Memorial Day Weekend, she added our t-shirts to her Summer guide. She’s got some other cool products on there so check it out.

Have a good friday!

Added Twitter to my Email signature

Friday, April 3rd, 2009

The day has come. As much as I like to make fun of Twitter, I just recently added Crooked Monkey’s twitter address to my email signature.

Heres the response to the first email that I sent with the new signature:
“YOU ADDED TWITTER TO YOUR FUCKIN EMAIL SIGNATURE!? WHO ARE YOU, CNN?”

I believe the emailer was referring to my blog post making fun of all the CNN people for using anything social media.

But I had to find a way to thank Twitter for the recent celebrity sighting–Ryan Seacrest wearing our I’m not a gardener i juts like hoes t-shirt. Now Twitter resides in the coveted email signature.

Twitter me this, Twitter me that

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

I’m pretty sick and tired of hearing the word Twitter. Twitter this, twitter that. Facebook this, facebook that. Blogging this blogging that. I’m especially annoyed when the old people at CNN ask me to comment on their blog, twitter, facebook, myspace, digg, delicious, wall, testimonials on Friendster, and gravestone. Stop trying too hard. I appreciate them trying to pander to the younger generation, but figure out a less annoying way to do it. They are clearly uncomfortable doing it, but they’re forced to because they don’t want to be seen as out of touch. Well I’ve got news for you, Jack Cafferty will never look comfortable saying “Check out my blog.”

Having said all that, Crooked Monkey now has a Twitter page! We’re allowed to–we’re not over the age of 50, we’re not boring, and we’re not annoying. We’re funny. That’s why we make funny t-shirts. We just made our page look pretty awesome, so check it out, start following us. And while you’re at it, subscribe to our RSS feed too.

We might start doing some crazy sales using our twitter–like For the next 15 minutes, all t-shirts 40% off. (But that was just a false alarm.) How about this, when we hit 300 Followers we’ll do a 40% off for 40 minutes promo using twitter. Tweet tweet.
